Referral service disclosure

This referral service is operated by Summit Wealth Limited, trading as Summit Mortgages.

Summit Mortgages is a referral service, not a mortgage adviser or a lender. We do not provide financial advice, we do not arrange loans, and we are not involved in your dealings with any lender.

General information only, not advice. Mortgage advisers are usually paid a commission by the lender. If your loan settles, the adviser's business may pay Summit Mortgages a referral fee. It is not added to your loan and does not change what you pay.

The broker or lender we pass your enquiry to is independent of Summit Mortgages. They're responsible for any advice they give you and for giving you their own disclosure.

We don't receive details of your loan, your lender, or the outcome of your application. Once we've passed your enquiry on, that relationship is between you and them.

If you tick the KiwiSaver box on our match form, that request goes to Summit Wealth Limited, the same company that operates Summit Mortgages, not to an outside business. Any KiwiSaver advice you receive comes with Summit Wealth's own disclosure, separate from this one.

Summit Wealth Limited holds a referral arrangement with Tower Insurance. Tower pays Summit Wealth Limited an ongoing commission on any policy bought through our Tower link, and we disclose that at the point the link appears. The same link also appears on summitwealth.co.nz and deets.co.nz, a website operated by Lika Limited, which has the same owners as Summit Wealth Limited. Tower deals with you directly for the quote and the policy: a Tower quote is not financial advice, and we don't advise on insurance.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the matching service itself, email kyle@summitmortgages.co.nz first and we'll do our best to sort it out. A complaint about advice should go to the financial adviser who gave it, and a complaint about a loan should go to the lender, through their own complaints process.
