Referral service disclosure

This referral service is operated by Summit Wealth Limited, trading as Summit Mortgages.

Summit Mortgages is a referral service, not a mortgage adviser or a lender. We do not provide financial advice, we do not arrange loans, and we are not involved in your dealings with any lender.

Summit Mortgages may receive a referral fee from the adviser if you go ahead with them. It doesn't change what you pay, and your adviser will give you their own disclosure before you decide.

The adviser you're matched with is a licensed mortgage adviser in their own right. They're responsible for the advice they give you and for their own disclosure, which they'll provide before you go ahead with them.

We don't receive details of your loan, your lender, or the outcome of your application. Once you're matched, that relationship is between you and your adviser.

If you tick the KiwiSaver box on our match form, that request goes to Summit Wealth Limited, the same company that operates Summit Mortgages, not to an outside business. Any KiwiSaver advice you receive comes with Summit Wealth's own disclosure, separate from this one.

Summit Wealth Limited holds a referral arrangement with Tower Insurance. Tower pays Summit Wealth Limited an ongoing commission on any policy bought through our Tower link, and we disclose that at the point the link appears. The same link also appears on summitwealth.co.nz and deets.co.nz, a website operated by Lika Limited, which has the same owners as Summit Wealth Limited. Tower deals with you directly for the quote and the policy: a Tower quote is not financial advice, and we don't advise on insurance.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the matching service itself, email kyle@summitmortgages.co.nz first and we'll do our best to sort it out. A complaint about the advice you receive should go to your adviser directly, as it's their own advice and their own disclosure that applies.
